Start a Backyard Compost Pile
This allows you to use your vegetable and fruit scraps effectively, as this type of waste adds up quickly. If it is done correctly, it will not attract animals.
RIRRC has a wonderful program where residents can purchase a backyard compost bin. View the Buy a Compost Bin website so you can also say "We Compost!"
